Stonington Institute located in North Stonington, Connecticut is recruiting a new Staff Physician to work with patients in our Addiction Program Services. We are expanding our clinical programs and have position options for fulltime or part-time employment on a Monday – Friday schedule preferred. Physician responsibilities for fulltime or part-time will include admission evaluations, direct care of patients in the inpatient rehab and partial programs, and treatment team planning and leadership. Ideal candidates will be BC in Addiction Medicine or BE/BC in General / Addiction Psychiatry.
Stonington Institute is located in the southeast corner of CT in New London County. It is easily accessible by I-95 and state roads not only to southeastern Connecticut but also surrounding Massachusetts and Rhode Island areas. Beauty and charm characterize North Stonington. Services are located on the North Stonington campus and at outpatient clinics in Groton and Waterford. Stonington serves both adults and adolescents with treatment programs that include: Medical Detoxification; Rehabilitation/Residential Treatment; Partial Hospitalization and Outpatient Services. Our clinical and medical staffs are trained and expert not only in treating chemical dependence, but also in psychiatric issues and those patients who are dually diagnosed.
