We are actively seeking a Medical Director for Smyrna, Delaware and New Castle, DE areas. We are looking for candidates who have experience in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Public Health to join our staff. Our candidate will be expected to provide required documentation of services to the Regional or Corporate Medical Director or designee in order to monitor services provided and compliance with facility/client contracts. The Medical Director will also notify the Regional or Corporate Medical Director and Health Services Administrator or designee of schedule changes, assist in arrangement for coverage of medical services if unavailable for extended period of time. Ideal candidate will able to work under pressure and be able to relate well to patients, security, visitors and co-workers.
Board certification, board eligibility or qualification by the State Laws and Regulations to practice medicine, a current license within the state, a current DEA number, CPR certification or ability to obtain the same are part of the requirements for these positions. Additionally, the candidate must maintain privileges and CME requirements for continued medical practice within the State. Salary range is $130,000 to $150,000, negotiable based on experience.
