Great upcoming opportunity for a Research Program Administrator located at the Diabetes Center of Excellence at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX!
The Research Program Administrator designs and writes of protocols, case report forms and informed consent forms for clinical trials.
Participates in the design, implementation and monitoring of clinical trials, preparation of integrated medical reports, etc.
Provides strategy on recruitment/selection on new investigators, contract research organizations and outside vendors.
Assists in planning and implements all activities required to conduct and monitor complex trials and ensures that Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) are followed.
Monitors site visits pre-study, at study initiation, at regular intervals during the study closeout.
Provides investigator performance and adherence to protocol, and proactively addresses conduct issues and enrollment problems, as necessary.
Participates in patient recruitment efforts based on protocols.
Enrolls/performs informed consent of patients entering research trials.
Monitors and participates in the compilation/writing of integrated medical reports.
Prepares manuscripts for technical journals and makes presentations at scientific meetings.
Assists in planning and execution of all aspects of the Diabetes Center of Excellence in concert with Air Force Diabetes Program strategic plan, goals and objectives.
