Family Practice/Emergency Medicine physician sought for Urgent Care opportunity located in a scenic, Sierra Nevada foothill community, with close proximity to Yosemite National Park; shifts 8AM to 1PM and 1PM to 6PM for PM shift; annual urgent care volume is 11,000 to 14,500 per site; there is a single physician on duty with nursing support; all of patients' labs, radiology reports and dictations done by physicians within the hospital system are all available through the EMRS used by the hospital; Urgent Care physicians are requested to dictate on all visits; each facility is equipped with x--ray capabilities.
Independent contractor position; position includes 12-15 shifts per month; shifts are paid based on the urgent care volume...i.e. 31-45 patients in a shift...$90/hr; 46-60....$100/hr; 61 and above $110/hr; group pays for 1/2 malpractice and tail coverage.
