Job Summary:
Lexington, KY, VA Medical Center, a two-division tertiary level inpatient and outpatient medical facility, is looking for an experienced physician for a key clinical leadership position in an academic setting. This VA Medical Center is closely affiliated with the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and supports numerous medical students, residents, and fellows in all subspecialties. The incumbent of this position will be responsible for the overall operation and supervision of a complex Anesthesiology Department including resident education, medical staff leadership, research, quality improvement and provision of inpatient and outpatient care to our veteran patients. The applicant must demonstrate strong clinical, administrative, and leadership skills with experience in an academic setting.
