Directorship position available in Pennsylvania just west of State College, PA. You would be the Director of Anesthesia Services working as the only full time anesthesiologist in the department. They are currently working on bread and butter cases with no heads, hearts or OB. You would be working 100% of your own cases. The surgical volume is very low. You would be required to take first call every night but are rarely called back in to the hospital. Please do not let that discourage you. Last year the anesthesiologist was called back to the hospital about 35 times total all after 3pm. This is a W2 employee position. They are offering 5 weeks of vacation, 1 week for CMEs and a full benefits package. They are offering an excellent salary that ranges between $320K and $350K depending on experience.
