Urgent Anesthesia locum tenens need located just west of San Antonio, Texas. Our client has a job opportunity for a locum tenens Anesthesiologist to cover for vacation August 22-Sept 2, 2011. This is a Level III trauma center, but the locum tenens physician will perform all general anesthesia cases consisting of vascular, neuro, OB, urology, eyes, peds, ortho, and outpatient. This group consists of 10 ANs and 3 CRNAs; however, the doctors only supervise CRNAs on OB cases. They run 10 ORs and also cover a freestanding surgery center. Call is 1:6. Client expects to have future weeks that they need covered as well. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided!
