Sheridan Healthcare is currently seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologists with cardiac experience for full-time opportunities at Brandon Regional Hospital, located in Brandon, FL. This 398-bed acute care facility offers a number of specialty services including the Heart & Vascular Center, where the latest in cardiovascular surgery and minimally invasive techniques are performed, The Behavioral Health Center, The Women’s Center, which includes Baby Suites and 22-bed neonatal intensive care unit, The Reflux Center and a designated Bariatric Center of Excellence.

Anesthesia Care team is comprised of 14 physicians and 16 CRNA’s and 9 AA’s.
Annual surgical volume of 13,577; OB services of 1,806; cardiac services of 400.
Types of cases at 25% Cardiac and 75% bread and butter
Cardiac fellowship-trained preferred but not required; TEE proficiency required.
Have 2 general calls per month, one day a week cardiac calls, and 1 weekend call per month. Resident distance requirement of 30 minutes from hospital when on call.
