Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants (PA) shall:
(1) Be a graduate of a PA accredited program recognized by the United States
(2) Maintain an active current and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or in the District of Columbia as a Physician Assistant, and meets English language proficiency.
(3) Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience within the preceding three (3) years of the emergency medicine specialty.
(4) Possess certification as a Physician Assistant as determined by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
(5) Be certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
(6) Be a U.S. citizen.
(7) Not have had a medical license revoked or limited by a State, Territory, Commonwealth or the District of Columbia.
(8) Not be pending or have had past felony charges against him/her.
