Position Details:
The Correction's Physician Specialist directs the Health Services program at an institution to provide care and treatment to inmates during incarceration.
* performs health evaluations of inmates, including review of medical information obtained by other healthcare providers;
* prescribes treatment for inmate's medical conditions on the physician's order form
* documents results of physical examinations, diagnoses and treatments in the individual inmate's medical record
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week (4x10s or 5x8s) depending on the facility, day shift starting between 6:30am-8:30am
