The Facility
The selected candidate will work in a 260-bed acute care, regional medical center. The Hospital’s Heart & Vascular Heart Institute offers comprehensive cardiac services, including three fully equipped Cardiac Operating Rooms, a Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services system, a designated Cardiac Interventional Center, and a Cardiac Telemetry Unit with 30 private rooms.
Position
He or she will be an employee of the hospital, and will join six other cardiologists in practice. The Medical Director will be responsible for the clinical management and oversight of the four Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories. He or she will also participate in marketing and outreach efforts, and will implement/monitor performance improvement activities and quality assurance.
