Interventional Cardiologist needed for Hospital in Georgia merging with Mayo Clinic
* Highly respected hospital-employed Physician Specialty Group in Waycross, Georgia needs a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist-Job #23442 to perform 50% interventional and 50% general cardiology due to the current patient volume and growth in the practice.
* Peripheral interventions would be a plus, but training in Nuclear Cardiology is a must.

* This Regional Medical Center is licensed for 231 beds and is the major medical referral center for the nine-county region in southeast Georgia serving more than 155,000 people.
* Their state-of-the-art Heart Center has a dedicated drive-through entrance which is conveniently located near the emergency and diagnostic imaging departments, and has new catheterization equipment, along with spacious diagnostic and exam rooms.
* Their cardiologists, working with a team of cardiovascular nurses, radiology technologists, and nuclear technologists, perform more than 900 cardiac catheterizations in a typical year, as well as other advanced procedures.
* They are affiliated with two hospitals in Jacksonville, Florida, as well as the Medical College of Georgia and will soon be affiliated with Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.
* Competitive salary with production bonus based on work RVU's.
