Highly respected multi-specialty group in Muskogee, Oklahoma is looking to add a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist-Job #22372 and an Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologist-Job #22815 to their growing practice.
This well established group offers the highest quality medical care to the community of Muskogee and the surrounding areas for a catchment population of 180,000 and a draw area of 300,000.
The group is staffed by physicians who are specialists in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, Cardiology, General Surgery, Endocrinology, Hematology/Oncology, Nephrology, Nuclear Medicine, and Sleep Disorders Medicine, as well as mid-level providers.
Their office provides a 26,000 sq. ft. free standing walk-in clinic, on-site X-ray, bone densitometry, digital ABI, EEG/EMG, PFT, EKG, a full service accredited laboratory, a state-of-the-art Nuclear Laboratory where they can perform several types of general and cardiac nuclear scans, as well as other cardiac testing that includes Echo, Doppler, Vascular Studies, Ultrasound, Holter Monitoring, and cardiac rehab.
In 2008, the hospital completed a $31 million dollar addition which included expansions to their cardiology, neurosurgery, cancer center, new operating rooms, outpatient departments, and endoscopy suites.
In addition, the hospital provides a state-of-the-art full service cath lab, 64 slice CT, and MRI.
The cardiologists in the group are currently doing over 525 diagnostic caths a year.
The hospital does not have a cardiovascular surgeon for surgical back-up.
