Outstanding opportunity for an BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist-Job #21648 to join a highly respected Cardiovascular Institute in Jacksonville, Florida due to current patient volume and a need in the practice. This position is for 2011. This prestigious Cardiovascular Institute offers unparalleled medical expertise by highly trained, board certified cardiovascular specialists made up thirteen cardiovascular specialists including non-invasive, invasive, coronary and peripheral vascular interventionalists, as well as an electrophysiologist. An Interventionalist with peripheral endovascular skills is a must. The group has its own fully accredited cath lab, digital echocardiography labs, non-invasive accredited vascular labs with RVT's on staff, accredited nuclear medicine, sleep lab and research departments. They have three echo labs, three vascular labs, two nuclear cameras, and one sleep lab. In 2007, they opened the first free standing cardiac and peripheral vascular cath lab in Jacksonville. The new laboratory is equipped with a state-of-the-art Phillips cardiac/vascular imaging system. The cath lab has seven private post procedure recovery rooms in the suite designed with patient comfort in mind from computers in the recovery rooms to private sitting areas for family. This group has an established EP program. They had been participating in clinical trials for many years through an independent research center, however in 2007 they began their own Research Program. They have several convenient office locations throughout the greater Jacksonville, Florida area. They see patients at three hospitals and have a strong referral base.
