Our client is the largest and most modern cardiovascular hospital in the province of Jilin in China. Jilin Heart Hospital (www.jlheart.org) was launched in 2004. In partnership with Children’s Heartlink and the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Jilin Heart Hospital receives continuous funding for training and logistical support to strongly uphold pediatric cardiac programs.
To support the expansion and sustain the partnership initiatives, we are looking for Canadian or US-trained Medical Specialists in the areas of Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. The Specialists will have the opportunity to work with, coach and lead the existing medical staff of 30 Cardiac Specialists and 3 Surgeons in the hospital.
Responsibilities
Interventional Cardiologist
-Perform angiography, angioplasties including complex lesions, primary PCI as well as peripheral lesions.
Cardiac Surgeon
-Organization of the administrative day-to-day activities of the Cardiac Surgery Department
-Responsible for the educational activities of residents and students assigned to the Cardiac Surgery rotations
-Responsible for providing continuing education to nursing staff; establish cardiac performance improvement program.
