The hospital is looking to expand its cardiology services by employing an Interventional Cardiologist in addition to the General Cardiologist already on staff. The facility has all the necessary equipment from a previous Interventional Cardiologist and will provide office space near the hospital with the current Cardiologist. In addition, the hospital has plans to renovate and update the Cath Lab once this position is filled. Our competitor hospital, 34 miles to the north, has an Interventional Cardiologist and is pulling some of our patients away. The hospital wants to invest in this specialty and offer the best Cardiology services in the region.
