Locum Cardiovascular thoracic surgeon needed for Friday, July 22, 2011 start at 8:00 AM - Monday, August 1, 2011 end at 8:00 AM.
Current physician is solo, has no call group and is basically on call 24/7.
Current physician generally does surgeries in the morning and sees clinic patients (approx 4 patients per day, Mon - Fri).
Client will try not schedule patients during this time so only patients that have an urgent need will be scheduled in the office.
Practice location is in professional building connected to hospital.
Staff: Office Manager, Receptionist, Medical Assistant.
Hospital Information:
Heart team - 2 scrubs and 2 circulators. No first assist.
Cath lab: 3 Board Certified interventional Cardiologist on staff.
Coronary PTCA, coronary/peripheral/carotid stents, rotoblader, primary prevention, ICD implantation, pacemaker.
Services to be provided:
Performing surgeries, rounding on any inpatients, seeing new consults, and seeing any clinic patients that need to be seen, basically any patient care that needs to be done.
