Maxim Government Services is currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a federal full time government contract or contract to perm opportunity at the VA Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV. Federal Employment allows providers to work on any active state license.
Nurse Practitioners shall:
* Be a graduate of an NLN/CCNE accredited school of nursing
* Maintain an active current and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or in the District of Columbia as a Nurse Practitioner, and meets English language proficiency.
* Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience within the preceding three (3) years of the emergency medicine specialty.
* Have a minimum MSN graduate education.
* Possess certification as a Nurse Practitioner as determined by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the AANP.
* Be certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
* Be a U.S. citizen.
* Not have had a medical license revoked or limited by a State, Territory, Commonwealth or the District of Columbia.
* Not be pending or have had past felony charges against him/her.
Physician Assistants shall:
* Be a graduate of a PA accredited program recognized by the United States
* Maintain an active current and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or in the District of Columbia as a Physician Assistant, and meets English language proficiency.
* Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience within the preceding three (3) years of the emergency medicine specialty.
* Possess certification as a Physician Assistant as determined by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
