Job/Practice Description:
Duties will include coverage of ICU on a rotational basis, to include evaluating and treating patients, co-management of surgical patients and seeing patients on consultation to evaluate for transfer into ICU. Candidate should be able to perform: insertion of central venous catheters, Pulmonary Artery catheters, bronchoscopes and thoracentesis.
Work Schedule:
Work in the ICU will be on a rotational basis on weekdays, weekends, and holidays from 0800-2000 or 2000-0800. The services will be approximately 84 hours per pay period (14 days).
Qualifications: Active State license Board Certified or 2) Board Eligible and less than four (4) years out of Residency, 3) and have current certification in Basic Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support. Prior to performing work contractor shall provide copy of current PPD within one year, proof of chicken pox - positive Varicella titer, proof of measles, mumps, rubella - positive MMR, titer, hepatitis B vaccine series or a signed declination), income tax withholding, and social security payments.
