Exceptional locum tenens job opportunity for several Pulmonary Critical Care doctors in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge area of Washington. Level 2 trauma center region hospital has taken over the Pulm/CC practice from the local group. They have six doctors and will have two more but need two to three locums Pulm/CC doctors starting in July and ongoing. Very flexible on schedule; two weeks per month, can be 7 on/7 off. There is a new 24-bed ICU and new 24-bed CCU. Doctors need to be able to handle outpatient clinic duties. Shifts are 12-hour days and 12-hour nights. Night shift is call, but often will be back at hospital. Two doctors on days; one in ICU and the other to handle consults and help in either ICU or CCU where needed. One doctor on call at night. Highly skilled and experienced nursing staff. Unit runs very smoothly. Unit runs at 75% capacity, so average of 15 PPD. The location is spectacular.
