Candidates must be BC/BE Pediatric Critical Care to join our well-established group. The schedule is 2 weeks on / 4 weeks off and a call schedule of 1:4 with the addition of the new physician. The department is very collegial and the PICU has a very strong, experienced, and collaborative staff, which has a very low turnover rate. Admissions range from 375-425 yearly. Second and 3rd year pediatric residents along and 4th year medical students rotate through the unit. The PICU division also runs a pediatric deep sedation service.
