Surgical procedures and services include but are not limited to: general surgery, urology, orthopedic, neurosurgery, GYN, vascular, ENT, ophthalmology and plastics procedures. CRNA will work under the general direction of the Anesthesiologist and/or attending surgeon. The Anesthesiologist is responsible for monitoring contract compliance and for verifying that services called for under the contract attested to by the Contractor have been received.Anesthesia administration will be documented on the Anesthesia Record. An electronic progress note will be entered after completion of the surgical case. The Anesthesia Record will then be scanned and attached to the electronic note. All patient encounters will be documented in the electronic medical record. may be exposed to surroundings which involve moderate risks or discomfort which require special precautions, i.e., infectious diseases, verbal and physical abuse from the emotionally disturbed patient. Contact with patients is for the purpose of procedure performance and information sharing as it relates to the procedures and special requirements. Contact with physicians and other ancillary services personnel are required for information sharing and consultation. Contact with visitors and family members, is required for information sharing as it relates to a particular patient. Ages of patients served may vary greatly and include young (20s and 30s years of age); middle-aged (40s and 50s years of age); and older patients (60 and upwards).Dress apparel: Contractor personnel shall be required to dress in a professional manner.
