Exciting locum tenens job opportunity for a Dermatologist in beautiful Wisconsin. Starting February 1, 2010 through July 30, 2010 (possibly longer). Dermatology locum tenens coverage is needed to assist the Dermatology Department during recruitment efforts. Board certification/eligibility in dermatology is required. This can become perm for the right candidate. The practice is based at the main campus of a major medical center in western Wisconsin. The locum tenens dermatologist (LT) will see patients of all ages in a standard medical/surgical dermatology clinical practice. The LT can expect to see 25-30 patients per day in the clinic 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (including a lunch break), Monday-Friday. Appropriate nursing and support staff are available. The LT will not be required to do surgery other than biopsies. If desired, the LT may do their own excisions of skin cancer, or these cases may be referred. MOHS surgery is not done at this clinic. Phototherapy and an Excimer laser are available. The practice does not include call. Hospital consults are rare. Will use electronic medical records (EMR), using the Cerner system.
