Currently a hospital in northwestern New York is looking to add an ER physician while they continue their search for a permanent doctor. The location of this hospital is set right in the middle of one of the most gorgeous landscapes you will find in New York, with plenty of outdoor activities involved. Whether it is water sports, hiking, biking, golf, or touring wine county… there’s something for everyone! The hospital would like to add the new ER locums physician as soon as possible. A qualified candidate should be either BE / BC in Emergency Medicine or they will also look at Primary Care physicians with extensive ER experience. The schedule will consist of mainly 12-hour night shifts, with some days being available as well. Shifts are from 8p - 8a, or 8a - 8p, and there are overlapping midlevel support shifts that run from 11a - 11p. Currently, there are 8 physicians in the ER department and they see about 20,000 patients annually. They are a Level II trauma facility.
