H1 visa's are considered. The ER positions work 12 hour shifts and normally will work 3 or 4 shifts a week. Currently the physicians rotate nights and days. They provide the employees with $7200 per calendar year for CME and pay it out as gross income once a quarter ($1800). They are a Level 4 Trauma and admit about 15% of patients to the hospital. They see on average 600-750 patients a month. The requirements are to work at least 108 hours per month. They offer medical dental and vision insurance with family coverage being about $75 per month out of pocket. They do require ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications and need the candidate to be Board certified in EM, FP or IM. The staffing levels are 1 physician, 1 RN and usually 1 NAC but they do have support from the floor for additional RN’s to float to the ER. Currently they have a 1 in 3 call schedule and the physicians are on a 1 in 8 call for Hospitalist.
