Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Minnesota!
The Practice:
Medical Center is looking to add Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide Emergency Room services.
Excellent Compensation for the right candidate in a Level III Trauma Center
Current Group: 4 FMs, 2 OB/GYNs, 1 Rad/Onc, 2 Gen Surg, 1 Ortho Surg, 2 Peds and 1 Hem/Onc – Creating a Total Group of 5 ER Physicians
VISITS AVG: 5000 – 6000 per year
Run Codes – Yes; Place Holding Orders – Yes ; Give Admitting Orders – Yes (you can do ‘tuck-in’ orders with verbal orders from the on-call PCPs)
Certifications Required: PALS, NALS, ACLS, ATLS
146 shifts/year (=20.85 weeks per year scheduled!) 12-hour shifts during the week (unless decided differently by the group); 12 shifts per month
7am-7pm and 7p-7a; somewhere between 2-4 shifts in a row
