The Practice
Sherman Hospital
• Sherman Hospital treats over 50,000 people a year and has a 28-bed ED
• The newly built, larger, more efficient ED opened in December 2009 will accommodate the increasing number of patients seen
• The Sherman ED has been the area resource hospital for the training of nearly 300 paramedics for over 25 years which enables the hospital to be responsible for emergency patients before they arrive at any area hospital through 24-hour communication that network with paramedics and emergency transports
• As a community based hospital, Sherman’s priority has remained meeting the healthcare need of the community through progress and commitment to excellence
The Opportunity
• Recruiting has begun for qualified ED/UCC/PC/IM Physician Assistants, ED/UCC experience preferred.
• Current national certification, ACLS and DEA.
