68 bed Emergency Department. 120,000 annual ED visits (90,000 adult and 30,000 pediatric). 4 State-of-the-Art trauma resuscitation rooms and 2 State-of-the-Art medical resuscitation rooms. 95 hours physician coverage daily. Separate adult and pediatric Emergency Departments. Level 1 Adult and Pediatric trauma center.
Coral Springs Medical Center: New ED planned to open 2011. Separate adult, pediatric, and fast track treatment areas (22 beds) . 49,000 annual ED visits. 53-57 hours Emergency Physician and Allied Health Provider coverage daily. 4-bed Fast Track open 12pm-12am and staffed by Allied Health Providers. 6-bed dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department (ER for Kids) open 24 hours a day and staffed by Phoenix Pediatricians 8am-8pm and Phoenix Pediatric Hospitalist in-house 12 hours daily. FirstNet computer software featuring patient tracking, order entry, results retrieval, prescription writing, and past medical history -- documentation via the T-system.
