Description Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physician: •Completed an internship and residency in an accredited U.S. Emergency Medicine Training Program. •Be board certified in Emergency Medicine or eligible for certification without additional education and training. Emergency Medicine Physicians: •Have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification by way of an American Heart Association or Red Cross approved training program. •Have and maintain a valid, unrestricted state license to practice medicine in one of the 50 states in the United States, or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands, and a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number. •Possess and maintain at all times a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number. •Graduates of foreign medical schools are required to possess both a medical license and other certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or 4th Pathway. •Be a U.S. Citizen or otherwise meet the requirements of AR 25-2.
