Wound MD Medical Director needed in Georgia
Meadows Regional has opened up a new search for a physician to be the Medical Director for our second regional Wound Center. The ideal candidate will have completed the Diversified Clinical Services (DCS) sponsored course "Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine and Problem Wound Management" or another DCS accredited UHMS Introductory Hyperbaric Medicine program or Problem Wound Medicine course. The Director will be responsible for the facilitation of the operations and projects of the Wound Center. He or she will work with the Program Director and Clinical Coordinator to monitor and determine the effectiveness of the wound care treatment.
Our experience has been that an Internal Medicine or FP physician who wants to move into a new direction will fit fine after they have completed the wound training. No call, Monday - Friday workday hours. An income of approximately $300,000 is a reasonable target.
The candidate selected will probably be an independent contractor who will receive a generous twelve (12) month income guarantee that will be dependent on the qualifications of the candidate.
