Seattle Area; Successful , independent, physician-owned group (25 out of 26 physicians are shareholders) are seeking a Family Practice physician who desires to include obstetrics and is interested in participating in the group through ownership (generally this opportunity is offered after 2 years of practice). This group has served the communities (north of Seattle) for 36 years and has earned a good reputation for community involvement. There are five physicians in the obstetrics call-group (the rest of the group handles medicine call; the physicians with obstetrics are only called for pregnant patient issues). One FP/OB is retiring so that has created one opening and the group would like to expand, so there is a second opportunity. Practice offers an excellent payer mix and serves a working middle class (and some retirees) area. Unemployment has not been an issue for their patient base (influenced by Boeing and MicroSoft as major area employers). There are many services offered on-site (high-complexity lab, digital x-ray, digital mammogram, ultrasound, DEXAscan, 7 days/week Walk-In Clinic, and more).
