Well-established premier group of over 30 providers located in one of Washington's most picturesque waterfront communities in the Seattle area, seeking Family Practice physician willing to do obstetrics as a component of a full spectrum practice--Family Practice with obstetrics. This physician group is independent, 24 of the 27 physicians are shareholders (equal basis). They offer evening appointments and seven day per week Walk-In Clinic services (access is great). Their EMR is a valuable tool for both physicians and patients --- this allows them to have good quality scores and they have terrific patient experience scores. Their services include a high-complexity lab (on-site), digital x-ray, digital mammography, ultrasound, mobile MRI, and many other services. They have a few RNs who help with health coaching and we also offer the Stanford Chronic Disease Self-Management group program. They generally offer a salary guarantee for $180,000 plus for the first year but if the physician?s production warrants a higher salary, then they are happy to pay based on production. The income distribution formula is a bit involved for me to describe here but all production is credited to the new physician from Day One forward. The opportunity to become a shareholder is typically reviewed after 2 years. They will consider signing bonuses or moving expense allowances on a case-by-case basis. For the FP/OB positions, they are interested in candidates who have a dedication to keeping obstetrics as part of their practice. Some background information: They have served the communities (north of Seattle) for 36 years and have a good reputation for community involvement. There are five physicians in the obstetrics call-group (the rest of the group handles medicine call; the physicians with obstetrics are only called for pregnant patient issues). One FP/OB is retiring so that has created one opening and the group would like to expand, so there is a second opportunity. Group enjoys excellent payer mix and serve a working middle class (and some retirees) area. Unemployment has not been much of an issue for our patient base (influenced by Boeing and MicroSoft as major area employers). Group offers many services on-site (high-complexity lab, digital x-ray, digital mammogram, ultrasound, DEXAscan, 7 days/week Walk-In Clinic, and more). This practice is located just 15 minutes from Seattle.
