Overview
Teach and supervise the clinical experience and perform patient care in both the inpatient and ambulatory clinic setting
Assist the Family Medicine Program Director in the successful implementation of the program in accordance with required accreditation and healthcare system guidelines and standards
General Duties and Responsibilities
Precept and mentor Residents, medical students, other healthcare students, and staff
Plan, organize and lead departmental strategies, goals and operations
Active participation in hospital Medical Staff meetings, committees and quality/CME activities
Active participation and leadership in national and statewide professional associations and other community organizations
Management and accountability for fiscal affairs of the department
Successful completion of all hospital required training and other regulatory requirements.
