There are three Options. (1) Option 1 - Join a MSG Clinic with shared Call of 1:5. The Family Practice Physicians in this area do not take OB call. The Group is experiencing strong growth. Benefits include: Relocation Paid and possible Sign-on Bonus, paid CME, Retirement, being Vested immediately from day 1 with 401k, 1 week of CME equating to $2,500, 4 weeks of vacation, a great Bonus structure, full Medical, Paid Malpractice. The compensation is about $170k. This Group uses EMR. (2) Option 2 - Join a Doctor in his Family Practice. This physician is open four days a week: Monday – Thursday. He generally works 10-12 hours a day and has an Urgent Care practice. He sees about 25-40 patients a day and has a fair amount of worker’s compensation. He is looking for an IM / FP who wants to take the lead of the practice within 2 years. This is an Employed position of the Hospital. This Physician is well connected in the community and the “movers and shakers” go to him. He has a very nice facility and it is currently an all Outpatient practice. He is looking for somebody that can allow him to scale back his schedule to 2-3 days a week. The office is a mile and a half from the Hospital. His Inpatient is being handled by another Internist in the community. He is a super physician and has a great personality! (3) Option 3 – Join a Doctor in his private practice as an Internist. THIS IS A NEW DYNAMITE POSITION! This is for a candidate who is available this year or early 2011. The need is for a hungry Internal Medicine or Family Practice candidate who wants to walk into a fully-established, busy, lucrative practice and stay in the office doing Outpatient only work. This practice sees 40 patients a day and is the busiest in town. He has a 2,700 sq foot office. Be Employed or Contracted. This practice is the Crown Jewel opportunity in this area. He is the second busiest admitter to the Hospital.
