Job/Practice Description:
Shall interview and examine patients, review past medical history and request and/or perform diagnostic tests and examinations as necessary to make diagnosis for primary care services. Make diagnosis after evaluating information obtained and provide medical or surgical treatment and/or referral as appropriate. Physician shall prescribe drugs and tests necessary to provide care including the use of radiology and laboratory. Will provide instructions to the prescribing contract physician as to substitutions of generic drugs for prescribed drugs. Respect and maintain the basic right patients, to include but not be limited to personal dignity. Counsel and educate patients, families, community, and medical staff about general healthcare.
Work Schedule:
8a-4:30p weekdays. On call 24hr time period, commencing 8a on day of call and ending 8a the next day. On call will vary from 1:3- 1:6, clinic 8:40-4:30. Clinics are scheduled every 20 minutes during clinic hours.
Qualifications:
BE/BC, Active State License, ACLS and BLS
