Description Exceptional locum tenens job opportunity for a Gastroenterologist in northern Illinois! Located less than 50 miles northwest of Chicago, this hospital based GI practice of four doctors is looking for locums help. One of the group will be leaving in the fall and they are looking for a replacement. They want the locums to start ASAP. Locums to perm is an option for the right candidate. Standard GI procedures, including Colonoscopies and Endoscopies are required. ERCP is a real plus. Schedule is half days in the outpatient clinic where you will see on average 7-8 patients per day. Three (3) half days in the Endoscopy lab where you will do on average 5-6 procedures per day. One (1) day a week on call in the lab. Typically 8+ procedures. On call every 4th weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Client will work with your availability. Full-time or two weeks on, two weeks off can work.
