Colorado General Surgery Opportunity The Practice: · SW Colorado Hospital is seeking a BE/BC General Surgeon experienced with trauma patients! · 4-day work week, 1 in 3-4 call –Choose to be employed or on an income guarantee! · The surgical cases are typical general surgery cases - The Hospital does not perform bariatric, vascular or thoracic surgeries. · Hospital of 40 years’ newly built campus with up-to-date equipment - Laboratory on site 24/7; turnaround approximately 1 – 1 ½ hours · 49 licensed beds with 6 bed ICU and 6 LDRP’s -- 4 operating rooms, 12 treatment rooms in the Emergency Department · Volume: 350 deliveries, 15,000 Emergency room visits, 2,600 surgeries - CRNA team provides anesthesia services; OR and PACU nurses on call 24/7 · MRI, 64-Slice CT, digital mammography & diagnostic x-ray, PET CT, nuclear medicine, dexa bone densitometry, echocardiography, Cardiac & physical rehabilitation. · Trauma Level IV Designation; 50 minute transport by ground, 15 minutes by air to Trauma II Facility.
