Northern Illinois hospital is looking to build their General Surgery program
Ultimate goal is to make this a 5 person General surgery practice
This would be an employed position
Salary package commensurate with the MGMA in the $300-$350K range based on experience
Great referral base of more than 130 primary care and 400+ subspecialist colleagues
To do the full spectrum of Bread & Butter General surgery including Surgical Acute Care, Elective General Surgery and Endoscopy
Surgeons would be affiliated with a major University
As a faculty member this individual will have the support of an academic department with more than 95 colleagues representing all subspecialties of surgery.
This partnership between the University and the Hospital will allow access to the resources of their preeminent tertiary academic medical center.
Health System serves 12 counties in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
Located approximately 90 miles north of Chicago, and 70 miles south of Madison, this is the third-largest city in Illinois with a metropolitan population of nearly 350,000.
