Hampton Behavioral Health Center in New Jersey is 30 minutes East of Philadelphia in Westampton Township off I-295 at exit 45A. Hampton is easily accessible from many New Jersey and Pennsylvania locations.
We are currently recruiting a new Staff Psychiatrist. The predominant caseload will be on the Geriatric Unit with some coverage of the General Adult Service. The Geriatric Unit at Hampton Hospital is a 26 bed unit covered by 2 Psychiatrists and a primary care physician. The staff and physicians on the unit are dedicated to care and multidisciplinary treatment of patients with geriatric psychiatric issues.
The Staff Physician duties will include admission evaluations, daily care of patients, treatment team leadership, and medical committee membership. The physician staff is very collegial and there is strong clinical and administrative support in the position. There is minimal call by phone. A competitive compensation and benefits package will be offered and there is opportunity to earn additional income over base salary.
Ideal candidate will be a General Psychiatrist with interest and experience in caring for geriatric psychiatry patients or a fellowship trained Geriatric Psychiatrist.
