We are currently recruiting for a full-time Attending Geriatric Psychiatrist

Responsibilities:
Provide patient care, appropriate training and supervision of Residents, Fellows and students as may be required.  Adhere to all standards and/or regulations of The Joint Commission, NYDOH and other appropriate regulatory bodies.  Keep current with and follow all regulations relating but not limited to, HIPAA, Medicare, NYS Medicaid, medical recordkeeping and clinical legal requirements.  Participate in CME performance improvement activities and hospital-wide committees as required.  Participate in off hour, on-site department coverage, as assigned where applicable.  Document and bill for services in accordance with billing guidelines.

Qualifications:

•Board Certification/Eligibility

•Current New York State license
•Strong teaching and leadership skills
