Academic GYN/ONC needed in eastern NC. The Department of OBGYN is seeking a Chief of Gynecology Oncology and a Gynecologic Oncologist. The successful candidates must be BC/BE in OBGYN and eligible for or currently hold a certificate of special competence in Gynecologic Oncology from the American Board of OBGYN. This is a Level 1 Trauma Center, is the teaching that currently offers minimally invasive robotics options for hysterectomy, sacrocolpopexy, myomectomy and gynecologic oncology procedures using the state-of-the-art da Vinci Surgical System. This institution has been a training site for robotics surgery since 1999, and currently houses three da Vinci Surgical Systems; two are available for scheduling procedures and one is stationed in the robotics surgery-training center.
