1st Solution has established a new partnership with a firm that develops and sells drug and medical information tools that are integrated into the pharmacy, hospital, insurer or healthcare vendor's information systems. They have engaged us to recruit for their open Clinical Director role that will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the ongoing development of their pharmacy product’s clinical content. You will also assist in developing content, products, and strategy for the EMR market.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Direct supervision of the product-line’s clinical team in the Indianapolis office. This team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the content for assigned databases. Ensure that all content is accurate, current, and conforms to the present editorial guidelines and procedures.
•Mentor, train, advise, coach, and support managers on a daily basis.
•Track and optimize clinical resources and identify areas of improvements and efficiencies.
•Coordinate, track, and drive projects related to new product development and product enhancements.
•Assist in new product development and enhancement of current products by providing strategic input based on industry knowledge, experience, and customer feedback.
•Work closely with key customers to ensure that content is meeting the needs of the market.
•Form strategic relationships with clinical and standards organizations as well as the EMR industry, which enables tracking and monitoring of industry trends and market requirements.
•Provide clinical support to sales, marketing, and customer service by serving as a subject matter expert and providing access to team members.
