Our client is a leading software and solutions company that provides predictive modeling for the healthcare industry. They are seeking to hire a Sr. Statistical Scientist to join their team in the Boston area. In this role you will represent the firm through speaking engagements and publications on risk management and act as a thought leader in developing new statistical models based on the commercial, Medicare and Medicaid market needs for risk management, provider profiling, electronic medical records and support for Accountable Care Organizations.
Additional Responsibilities
•Promote awareness and delivery of emerging analytics using new data sources (HRA, biometrics, lab values, EMR, disability, Workers compensation, with an ability to assess potential impact and relevance;
•Design statistical methodologies that will enhance consulting services and product initiatives;
•Analyze model output and determine impact to existing products - communicate this impact in written and in presentation format;
•Oversee integration of new and existing risk models into core products;
•Provide clear direction to direct reports during the planning and execution of team initiatives;
•Act as the research science expert within the company supporting sales, product and operations
