Great locum tenens job opportunity for Medical Oncology doctor in Indiana. Hospital-based Oncology Department needs coverage in the summer for one week assignment. This will be a position that will have both office procedures and rounding of patients in the 131-bed facility. Doctor will see 15 patients per day. Hours will be 8:30AM to 5PM with no night or weekend call. New, state-of-the-art, 14,000 sq. ft. cancer center is fully equipped with 12 infusion chairs, skilled techs, and 6 oncology RNs to mix the chemo. Procedures will include Chemotherapy, Bone Marrow Aspirations, and Biopsies. As a regional health center with nearly 70 active staff physicians and 1000 employees, the hospital serves nine counties in Indiana. Location is one of the 25 best small towns in America.
