Board certified oncologist to supervise Oncology Fellow and Oncology PA/NP and to share in the workload of the Oncology Section. See outpatients directly in Oncology Clinic and Chemotherapy Clinic. Perform oncology consults on inpatients. Procedures which may be required to be performed include: Bone Marrow biopsies/aspiration (needle), LP’s with installment of drugs, Paracentesis w/installation of drugs, Injection of IV chemotherapy, abdominal paracentesis, local anesthesia, and thoracentesis. Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to type/keyboard and enter medical information into our medical record system via the computer, as well as the ability to find and extract medical information from the electronic medical record. The vacancy is for a second oncologist, as there is a full time staff person on duty. FTEE (Full Time Equivalent Staff) is 2.1. There are one or two triage nurses as required, and several chemo nurses.
