Excellent locum tenens job opportunity for a Hematology/Oncology doctor in beautiful Wisconsin! August to October is the schedule. Job entails two days per week at a main clinic and one day per week rotating at a smaller clinic. Three days per week with client; very flexible regarding schedule. Typical day in clinic would include 1- 4 new patient consults for an hour each. The remainder of the clinic day is filled with established patient visits in a usual template of 20 minutes per patient. The Oncologist will be required to maintain hospital privileges at all times as chemotherapy is delivered through these local hospitals. No after-hours or weekend call is required. No inpatient Hem/Onc consultative service is required. Medical Oncologist support to include new patient consults in Oncology and Hematology and established patient visits. Clinic hours are 8AM to 4:30PM. The Oncologist covering the site is responsible for supervising chemotherapy on the days they are present in clinic. Located in the northwest corner of Wisconsin, this job would be the ideal place to spend the summer and fall. The main clinic is located on Lake Superior and the other two are nearby.
