A state-of-the-art outpatient Oncology center in Alabama has a locum tenens job opportunity for the right Medical Oncologist / Hematologist. This opportunity has ongoing needs starting summer 2011. Quarterly dates are also expected and could be covered by the same physician if a good fit is determined. Assignments are usually Monday through Friday or longer. The cancer treatment clinic is new and modern with eight infusion chairs. There is a full support staff, including three Oncology RNs to administer chemotherapy, and a highly experienced administrative staff. You will see an average of 15 -18 PPD and evening call can be expected. There are two hospitals where you will round on patients.
