An excellent private practice opportunity is available for a BE/BC hematologist/oncologist to join a three person single specialty group. One of the physicians is retiring. There is enough volume as the dominant providers of oncology in the region to add another physician. Call will be 1:3 though the NPs also take first call and there is a hospitalist program to cover all admissions. Physicians are seeing about 12 patients per day with 1-3 new patients daily. This does not include those coming for chemo treatments in the 16 chair chemo suite. The practice has been established 25 years and is extremely successful. The hospital's cancer center program, one of the centers for excellence, is accredited by the American College of Surgeons on Cancer. Surgical oncology and radiation therapy are also offered here. A highly competitive base salary will be offered and will vary upon candidate's experience. Benefits include, but not limited to, relocation assistance, health insurance, malpractice insurance, paid time off, and CME time and allowance. Partnership is planned after 2 years.
