Hospital in Missouri is searching for a BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologist for their stat of the art Cancer Center which is complete with medical oncology, radiation oncology, and outpatient imaging. The center also provides PT/OT/fitness center, dietary support, and psychiatry/psychology. They currently have on staff 3 Hem/Oncs, 1 Nurse Practitioner and Radiation Oncologists. They are considering candidates that would be available to start summer/fall 2012. The ideal candidate will be well versed in both hematology and oncology and take care of a variety of patients including those with leukemia. The practice is comprised of approximately 30% hematology and 70% oncology. The center very active in clinical trials through their affiliation with the University of Missouri/Ellis Fischel Cancer Center (located only 30 miles away).
Practice is located 2 hours from St. Louis and Kansas City and 30 minutes from Columbia, MO. Population is 39,000 with a service draw of 200,000. ½ hour to University of Missouri for higher education. Enjoy beautiful rolling hillside, parks, pools, organized sports, skating rink and more.
