Excellent Oncology / Hematology locum tenens job opportunity in southeastern Michigan. This single-physician practice will need coverage for sporadic summer and fall dates throughout 2011. The right candidate will be warmly welcomed back for future assignments, if deemed to be the right fit. A typical day is Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00, with call that is shared between other local physicians. Evening beeper call would be a maximum of two times weekly, with the potential for weekend beeper coverage based on rotation for the scheduled week. Procedures will include chemotherapy, bone marrow biopsy, and aspirations. There is a full support staff and rounding will be done at one local hospital. Travel and lodging, malpractice insurance, and a very competitive wage will be provided.
